Compressed air used in industrial pneumatic equipment contains in one cubic meter more than 100 million of polluting particles; most of these particles are so small in dimension (less than 2 micron) that cannot be intercepted by a standard inlet air filters installed in the compressors.

These particles mixed with water and oil vapors generated in the compression, cause the early wear and tear of the appliances and consequently they are the reason for expensive interruptions of the production and remarkably increase the number of interventions for maintenance purposes.

The final target is to obtain a specific air quality for each peculiar purpose and thus increase and improve the performances of the whole equipment.

CERAMIC PREFILTER AQF TYPEA
protective filter suitable to intercept solid particles and emulsions up to 3 micron in diameter. A long working life together with an excellent endurance to heat andabrasion make this filter the best first protection stage of the compressed air system. The ceramic material of the element is oil-tight and can be easily cleaned.

DESOILING FILTER APF TYPE
Interception type filter suitable for hard and oil particles up to 1 micron in diameter. This filter, by means of the impact, interception and coalescing principles, compels the submicronic liquid particles which from the inside strain through the element, to collide and thus become larger microdroplets which will drip to the bottom of the filter housing. The element itself is made by a borosilicate fiberlayer supported by inner and outer perforated stainless steel structure. A PVC outside cover drains the coalized liquid.

DESOILING FILTER AHF TYPE
Coalescing filter for liquid and solid particles up to 0.01 micron in diameter. AHF type filters are structurally similar to the APF Type. The only difference lies in the filtration degree. Air passing through this filter is practically 99.99% oil free, therefore suitable to be employed when and where clean and pure air is a must. When placed after a dryer as an additional desoiling filter it is an excellent prefilter for the ACF Type.

ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER ACF TYPE
There are treatments in the industrial plants which in addition to oil free air, require the elimination of water vapors and odors. For this purpose, the activated carbon filter through the absorption process, attracts all odors and vapors left after desoiling and keeps them on the surface of the activated carbon grain molecules. Owing to this, APF or AHF filters have to be placed before the ACF filters. The element is made by a fiber coating kept in place by an inside and an outside stainless steel wall.
